Has anyone ever read the book Lonely Werewolf Girl? It's awesome! I just finished it and felt like doing some fanart.
I can't tell you how hard it is for me to draw in this simple style. "Must... stay away... from blur tool!" Gah! But I do think this one is better than my previous attempts.
I wasn't sure whether to add the text or not... I wanted to fill in the empty black space in the corner, but because I added text I think the drawing now looks like a book jacket. But maybe that's actually kind of cool.
Figure drawn entirely in Photoshop. The moon is obviously a photograph. The brick background is most definitely a photograph, with an artistikal filter on top of it. The wolf shadow is also the distorted outline of a photograph.
That's right, I'm completely lazy. So sue me. But hey, I drew the figure from scratch so that's got to count for something, huh?
I love the book! It's so funny and just all around fun! This is really great. Kalix, I'm assuming? Anyway, great interpretation, and you did fine keeping it simple.

I love this I too just got done with Lonely Werewolf Girl and I found it very refreshing. It was a good read and I am just now exploring the internet fan-ness to see if there are any followers.

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
